In a captivating exploration of history and emotion, my most recent painting captures a pivotal moment in ancient Egypt: the young Amunhotep IV learning of the death of his father, Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
This piece, which delves deep into the psyche of a future leader who would later rename himself Akhenaten, was crafted using a unique and evocative technique that blends washes of oil paint with the transformative power of fire.
The Painting Process
